A court has arrested for two months a bus driver who caused an accident in the Simferopol region of Crimea, which killed six people. This was announced on March 26 by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
"According to the investigation, on March 24, 2025, the accused, driving a KAv3 bus, was driving along a highway near the village of Ukromny, Simferopol district, and collided with a Kamaz heavy truck with a trailer," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
The court chose a preventive measure against the man in the form of detention for a period of 2 months. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
A regular bus and a truck collided on a highway in Crimea near the village of Ukromnoye, Simferopol district, on March 24. The Interior Ministry in the region reported that six people were killed. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the fact of violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons (Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code).
