A snowmobile with people fell through the ice on the Irtysh

Two people on a snowmobile fell through the ice in the Khanty-Mansiysk region. The incident occurred in the middle of the Irtysh River, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Wednesday, March 26.

The victims were able to get out of the polynya on their own, rescuers evacuated them to shore. The victims were diagnosed with general hypothermia of the body, writes the news agency " <url>".

As noted in the department, this is the third case in Ugra since the beginning of the current 2025. One person died.
