State support for Russia's agro-industrial complex will exceed 500 billion rubles in 2025. This was announced on March 26 by the head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
"In total, over 500 billion rubles have been allocated in the federal budget for support <...> for the current year," during the presentation of the annual report on the work of the executive branch in the State Duma.
According to him, currently more than half of the agricultural equipment is produced in the Russian Federation. Mishustin noted that Russian farmers have received over 30,000 tractors, combines and other machines.
The Head of government stressed that purchases in the food industry had also increased. According to Mishustin, this generally has a positive impact on the dynamics in agriculture. He called this sector of the economy one of the most competitive and technologically advanced.
On March 17, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported that in many regions of the country, the preparation of seeds for the sowing campaign has almost been completed.
