Divers from the Dobovolets group have completed a search operation for a drowned six-year-old boy in the Tosna River in the Leningrad Region. He was never found. A message about this appeared in the official community on the VKontakte social network page.

78 TV channel clarifies that on Sunday, March 23, two children went out on the ice of the river. One of them failed. The second, a 13-year-old boy, tried to pull him out of the water, but almost died. A passerby helped him.

The volunteers scanned more than 21,000 square meters of the river, studied 1.3 km of coastline. Local residents also participated in the search.

Earlier, in January, it was reported that two boys had fallen into a river in Surgut. One of them was swept away by the current. At first, the children stood on the shore and threw snow into the sagebrush, but then they decided to go down. Going out to the river, one of the boys slipped, and the ice cracked under them, both ended up in the water. One of the guys managed to grab onto the shore and get out onto dry land. The second one tried to pull himself up by leaning on an ice floe, but it turned over and covered him.
