A drug laboratory was liquidated in the Naro-Fominsk city district of the Moscow Region. A 32-year-old resident of the Smolensk region was detained. He is suspected of drug trafficking.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, with reference to Tatyana Petrova, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, the police, while working out operational information, established that the man had equipped a laboratory in a house he rented in one of the farming co-ops near the village of Ordino.

A criminal case has been opened.

Earlier, on March 24, it was reported that the Ivanovo Regional Court sentenced 14 members of the criminal community involved in the production of drugs. The court sentenced them to imprisonment for terms from 10 to 20 years to be served in correctional colonies of general and strict regimes. The criminal community was created back in 2019. It consisted of residents of Ivanovo, Moscow, Saratov, Volgograd and several other regions.
