Speed was limited on sections of the R-23 highway in the Pskov region.

Speed limits were introduced on several sections of the federal highway R-23 St. Petersburg - Pskov – Pustoshka – Nevel – border with Belarus. The measures began to take effect on Wednesday morning, March 26.

As told to the Pskov news feed in the FKU Control Center "North-West", until 17 o'clock on 31-55-31 km in both directions the speed will be limited due to mechanical cleaning of the axial at the dividing line. Up to 15 hours, the speed will be limited in both directions in the right lane due to the washing of the noise shield.

Until 4 p.m., restrictions will be in effect on the 33rd and 42nd km in the direction of Pskov in the middle lane. The reason is the dimple repair.

Earlier it was reported about the restriction of truck traffic from March 17 in the Pskov region. Such a measure is necessary to preserve the integrity of roads in the spring. The restriction will apply to vehicles with and without cargo on regional roads. The restriction period will last until April 15th.
