In Yelets, Lipetsk region, an inscription made during the Great Patriotic War became visible on the facade of a house on Oktyabrskaya Street. She was noticed by a resident of the city, Yuri Borisov.

According to him, quoted by GOROD48, for several years he has been observing how letters gradually appear from under the plaster layer. Now you can see the last words "... the front needs".

Borisov noticed that the inscription became clearer just in time for the 80th anniversary of the Victory. Now we have to wait for it to fully manifest.

The Yelets Museum of Local Lore suggested that the phrase "Every handful of expensive grain, like a bullet, like a bomb, is needed by the front" was written on the facade.

The agency notes that in 2022, during renovation work at the Yelets College of Art, inscriptions from the First World War and fragments of a wall medallion depicting a character that has not yet been identified were found under a layer of plaster. The inscription contains quotes to Alexander Suvorov from the field service regulations.
