Denmark has developed an air defense force unit for ground defense

In Denmark, an air defense unit has been opened at Skalstrup Air Base for the country's ground defense. This was announced on March 26 in a press release from the Danish Ministry of Defense on the website.
"The situation in the field of security policy suggests the need to accelerate the build-up of the combat power of the Danish Armed Forces. The creation of ground—based air defense in Denmark is an absolutely priority operational need," said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
At the same time, the emergency acquisition of ground-based air defense systems by the logistics department and the military department is being considered. It is reported that the unit will become the headquarters of the Danish ground air defense.
In addition, an air defense wing will be created within the air Command, which will be responsible for further planning, organization and implementation. It is noted that such measures will become an important element for strengthening the country's armed forces.
Earlier, on March 24, the Financial Times newspaper reported that US allies in Europe and Asia were thinking about their own nuclear weapons. According to the publication, Germany, South Korea and Japan are among the countries under consideration. Each of these States is capable of developing nuclear weapons as soon as possible.
