A case has been opened into the murder of a woman and the wounding of a man in the Krasnodar Territory.

A criminal case has been opened in the Krasnodar Territory over the murder of a woman and the attempted murder of a man during a shooting. This was reported on March 26 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"A criminal case has been opened against a 52-year—old local resident who is suspected of murdering a woman (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and attempted murder of two persons (part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the Telegram channel says.

It was established that on the evening of March 25, a suspect in a state of alcoholic intoxication entered the store building on Armavirskaya Street in Dagomys village, Lazarevsky district of Sochi. The man went to the store with a gun. There was an acquaintance of the suspect in the room who had a debt in front of him, as well as a 43-year-old employee of the outlet.

Against the background of the conflict, the man fired at least five shots. The woman died on the spot. The second victim, in turn, was wounded in the arm and was able to escape. The suspect managed to escape from the crime scene.

Currently, the suspect has been detained, and the circumstances of the incident are being established. In the near future, the investigation intends to petition the court for the man's detention.
