Bloomberg reported on the possible return of the largest commodity traders to Russia

The largest commodity and energy trading companies in the world allow their return to Russia in the event of the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions. This was reported by Bloomberg on March 25.
"If the sanctions are eased so that we can return, then why not? This is our job," Thornbjorn Tornqvist, director of the international energy group Gunvor, told the agency.
It is noted that commodity traders were actively doing business in Russia before the start of the special operation. However, companies were forced to withdraw from deals and cooperation with partners in Russia as Western countries imposed new restrictions on Russian exports.
It is indicated that representatives of various commodity markets expect a potential reduction in prices in the event of a resumption of the previous volume of supplies of raw materials from Russia to Europe.
In February, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev said that many Western oil and gas companies would like to return to Russia, but they are afraid of sanctions pressure. According to him, if restrictions on the Russian energy market are lifted, a huge number of foreign firms will immediately return.
