The Investigative Committee has established new facts of killings of civilians by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sudzhansky district

The Investigative Committee of Russia has established new facts of killings of civilians and looting by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 26 by the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.

"In the village of Kazachya Loknya, Sudzhansky district, Kursk region, military personnel of the VFU (armed formations of Ukraine. — Ed.), who illegally invaded the territory of the Russian Federation, killed at least two civilians who were hiding in residential buildings," she said.

According to the investigation, Ukrainian militants also engaged in looting: they purposefully shelled the streets, deployed military equipment in the private sector and set fire to houses in the villages of Zaoleshenka, Kazachya Loknya and Sloboda Zamostye.

According to the established facts, a criminal case has been opened under paragraphs "b" of Part 3 of Article 205 and paragraphs "a", "c" of Part 3 of Article 356.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act", "Looting"), specified in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Petrenko reported on March 23 that the Investigative Committee of Russia had received new evidence of the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the shooting of civilians on the territory of Sudzha in the Kursk region. According to the official representative of the department, the Ukrainian military were engaged in looting and set fire to houses where civilians were staying, deliberately shelled residential premises, after which many buildings were destroyed.
