The head of the RFU predicted the return of the Russian Federation to the international arena in 2025

Russian football clubs and national football teams may return to international competitions by the end of 2025. Alexander Dyukov, president of the Russian Football Union (RFU), told Izvestia on March 25.

According to him, this probability is more than 50%.

"I believe that the moment of return is approaching every day and, most likely, it will not happen tomorrow, but we expect that a decision can be made during this year," he said.

Dyukov noted that the decision on this issue may be phased and may not affect all national teams or all clubs.
