- Miroshnik pointed to the deliberate murder of Russian journalists by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a car carrying Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak and his colleagues from the Zvezda TV channel was intended to create a "fog of war" around what is happening in the conflict zone, Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for crimes of the Kiev regime, explained to Izvestia.
"We have reason to believe that these were targeted actions, that the strike was carried out directly at the place where the media presence was somehow established. The real position of Ukraine is very clearly visible, including against the background of attempts to build a dialogue on a settlement. Ukraine had clear aspirations to impose its media agenda as much as possible, and they considered the presence of journalists there as a goal," the diplomat noted.
In his opinion, we are talking about a war crime committed by order and under the political supervision of the Ukrainian authorities.
"It is only a matter of time before we figure out or choose the options for who exactly gave the order to launch this strike and from where it was launched. This is logging and collecting reliable evidence. The investigative authorities have data on many such situations. When these figures will be in the dock is a matter of time and the situation on earth," said Miroshnik.
