The Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian military in the special operation zone

On March 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation.

The ministry noted that Corporal Murad Kuzhakhov, commanding the evacuation group, carried out the task of providing medical assistance to the wounded in one of the settlements liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

During the artillery shelling by the enemy, who is trying to regain control of the village, several Russian servicemen received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. The corporal, in turn, having chosen the optimal route, moved forward to help the wounded. Despite the incessant enemy artillery fire and attacks by FPV drones, Kuzhakhov was able to get two soldiers out from under fire and arrange their delivery to the evacuation point. Thanks to his actions, it was possible to save the lives of Russian fighters.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense drew attention to the merits of junior Sergeant Yuri Medintsev. Acting as part of a self-propelled artillery gun crew, he performed tasks to support the advancing Russian units.

In an attempt to stop the advance of the attack aircraft, the enemy conducted continuous artillery fire on the Russian infantry and the positions of the calculation. Despite this, Medintsev ensured the continuous combat operation of his gun, as well as interaction and coordination with intelligence units. As a result of his actions, the enemy artillery crew and most of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

After that, the junior sergeant secretly moved to a more advantageous position and continued firing at enemy positions. The enemy was caught off guard and attempted to withdraw to reserve positions, but lost another artillery installation with personnel. Thanks to Medintsev, the Russian attack aircraft were able to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions, move forward and gain a foothold on new frontiers.

On March 25, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that operators of FPV drones of the motorized rifle unit of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and an enemy mortar in the area of the Markovo settlement. It was noted that the drone control point was detected using aerial reconnaissance.
