The actress who voiced the crow Karkusha in the children's program "Good Night, kids!" has died at the age of 88. This was announced on March 25 by the press service of the TV show.
"For almost half a century of her life, she remained faithful to the children's editorial office and the program "Good Night, kids!". Now, Karkusha, whom Galina Alexandrovna called the main love and the main event of her colorful acting life, has lost her second "mother," the message says.
The program staff also expressed their condolences to the artist's relatives and friends.
Marchenko was an actress at the Central Children's Theater, and also worked at the Ulyanovsk, Kalinin, and Kuibyshev Philharmonic Societies. Then in 1975, she came to the program "Good Night, kids!", where she played the roles of various characters, such as Piggy, Stepashka and Mishutka. And already in 1998, Marchenko began playing Karkusha after the death of the actress Gertrude Sufimova.
