Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded singer Anna Semenovich with the medal "For her Work in Culture and Art." The relevant decree was published on the official legal information portal on March 25.
"For her contribution to the development of Russian culture and art, and many years of fruitful activity, award <...> the medal "For Works in Culture and Art" <...> to Anna Grigorievna Semenovich," the document says.

On this day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also presented professional awards to cultural figures of the Russian capital. Viktor Moskvin, Ivan Sigorskikh and Oleg Gushchin were awarded the insignia "For impeccable service to the city of Moscow". In addition, Alyona Babenko, an artist of the Sovremennik Theater, and Victoria Isakova, an artist of the Pushkin State Art Theater, received the title of "Honorary Artist of the City of Moscow."
