The Russian banks involved in agricultural exports should be connected to SWIFT again. This follows on March 25 from the agreement on the results of the Russian-American consultations in Riyadh, published on the Kremlin's website.

"The lifting of sanctions restrictions on the Rosselkhoznadzor and other financial organizations involved in ensuring international trade in food (including fish products) and fertilizers, their connection to SWIFT, and the opening of necessary correspondent accounts," the document says.

It is reported that the agreements between Russia and the United States on the Black Sea will enter into force only after a number of conditions have been fulfilled.

The list also includes conditions for lifting restrictions on trade finance operations, lifting sanctions restrictions on food and fertilizer manufacturing and exporting companies, as well as lifting restrictions on insurance companies handling food and fertilizer shipments, lifting restrictions on ship service in ports, and sanctions on Russian-flagged vessels involved in food and fertilizer trade. fertilizers, lifting restrictions on the supply of agricultural machinery to the Russian Federation, as well as other goods involved in the production of food and fertilizers.

The talks between the Russian and American expert groups in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) took place on March 24. They lasted 12 hours.

Grigory Karasin, a member of the Russian delegation and Chairman of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, described the meeting as a difficult but useful dialogue. According to him, during the negotiations, the parties raised many issues, but not all were resolved.
