Two Alpha Jet Dassault and Dornier planes of the French Patrouille de France aerobatic team collided and crashed while performing a training flight in the skies of eastern France. This was announced on March 25 by the Minister of Defense of the Republic, Sebastien Lecorny.

"An accident involving two alpha jets of the French patrol during rehearsals has just occurred in eastern France. Assistance is being mobilized, and coordination is being ensured between the Interior Ministry and the armed forces," he said on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The footage, published on the Puissance Television channel, shows that two planes collided during a group turn. It is noted that three pilots ejected on time. They received assistance from emergency services.

According to the portal, one of the planes crashed into the Calin bunkers in Saint-Dizier, and the other is believed to be in the canal.

Earlier, on March 23, a turbojet crashed during an airshow in the Republic of South Africa (RSA). According to the local News24 portal, the pilot did not survive. The cause of the crash is not specified.
