Fedorchak's death became known earlier that day. He worked on the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) and the Kharkiv region. Fedorchak's latest report on the situation in the Kupyansk area aired on March 23. The journalist is from Crimea. The head of the region, Sergey Aksenov, also expressed his condolences. A memorial was erected in the Izvestia News Center building as a sign of mourning for the deceased correspondent.
