The State Duma in the first reading approved the collection of tax debts without trial

In the first reading, the State Duma approved a bill according to which Russians will be able to collect taxes, fees, fines, insurance premiums, penalties and interest without trial by decision of the tax authorities. This was announced on March 25 on the bill's page on the State Duma website.

According to the draft, the tax authorities will be able to collect debts on taxes, fees and insurance premiums out of court. The initiative was introduced by the Government of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that after the law is passed, the measure will become available to individuals. However, the debtor will be able to challenge the decision of the tax authority if he does not agree with it.

Earlier, on March 10, the head of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection, Sergei Leonov, said that Russians in 2025 would be able to return up to 19.5 thousand rubles as a tax deduction for paying for treatment. It is specified that it will be possible to apply for a deduction only within three years at the office of the tax inspectorate or on the website of the Federal Tax Service.
