The West ignored the attack of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the territory of Russia, which occurred after the ceasefire agreement on energy infrastructure. This was announced on March 25 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Given the ability of the Ukrainian military to create provocations, they [the Ukrainian military] have now hit the Sudzha gas pumping station and said that Russia did it itself," Lavrov said in an interview with Channel One.

Given the experience of the agreement with Kiev, the guarantees may be solely the result of an order from Washington to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his team to do one way or another, the minister added.

Earlier, on March 23, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine's failure to comply with the agreements could be another reason for a conversation between American President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. This is how the Kremlin representative commented on the ongoing attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on energy facilities.

During the talks between the presidents of Russia and the United States on March 18, the Russian leader supported the idea of mutual rejection by Moscow and Kiev of attacks on energy infrastructure. However, after the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a deliberate drone attack on an energy facility in the village of Kavkazskaya, Krasnodar Territory. At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian military had neutralized seven attack drones aimed at Ukrainian energy facilities.

On March 19, Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky promised to abandon attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, but on the night of March 21, Ukrainian armed groups blew up the Sudzha gas measuring station (GIS) in the Kursk region, through which Russian gas was being pumped to European countries. On the same night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched several attacks on the Kursk NPP.
