Official sales of Lixiang cars will begin in Russia in the second quarter
Official sales of hybrid Lixiang (Li Auto) cars are scheduled to begin in Russia in the second quarter of 2025, with the opening of the brand's first official showroom in the country scheduled for this date. A source in the dealer community told Izvestia about this.
The supply of Lixiang cars to Russia is organized by the Sinomach Auto concern, which now offers Oting and Rox cars in the country. According to the source, it is possible that the company will be involved in the certification of Lixiang models for the Russian market. The issue of a possible warranty for cars that have already been imported into the Russian Federation is currently being discussed.
The day before, Izvestia found out that Hyperion Leasing (Tianjin), a subsidiary of Sinomach Auto, began searching for employees to manage Lixiang in the Russian Federation. The company is looking for a brand lawyer, a PR manager, and a warranty manager for the same brand.
