The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has dismissed a claim for invalidation of an agreement on the alienation of exclusive rights to the works of Soviet writer Vasily Shukshin. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

"Dismiss the claims of Olga Vasilyevna Shukshina against Maria Vasilyevna Shukshina," the judge announced the decision.

Lydia Fedoseeva-Shukshina, the wife of Soviet writer Vasily Shukshin, has decided that she will not sue her children. This statement was made by her lawyer Yulia Verbitskaya in a conversation with Izvestia.

"Lidiya Nikolaevna will not sue any of her daughters. You know this parable, when a mother whose children had robbed her of everything said, "We want your heart," she opened her chest, gave her heart, and said, "Nate." <...> Maria Vasilyevna [Shukshina] deprived her of all rights to Vasily Makarovich's legacy by signing an agreement in 2019, Lidia Nikolaevna no longer has the right to anything," Verbitskaya explained, calling Maria Shukshina "a very talented actress."

After Vasily Shukshin's death, the rights to all his creations were divided between relatives. So, Lydia Fedoseeva-Shukshina and her daughter Ekaterina from another marriage received 2/10 each, and sisters Olga and Maria received 3/10 each. At the same time, Fedoseeva-Shukshina transferred her share to Maria. Olga Shukshina disputes this agreement and proposes to invalidate it, stating that her sister left their mother with "practically nothing."

Yulia Verbitskaya, Lidia's lawyer, claimed that Maria took advantage of her mother's trust, as a result of which the defendant was forced to write an agreement at dictation, which was submitted to the court in her absence. According to the lawyer, the signing of the deal in 2019 took place without the artist's knowledge, and she learned about the deprivation of rights only in 2023 after the start of lawsuits. Now Fedoseeva-Shukshina is deprived of all copyrights to her husband's legacy and is trying to return them.

The previous hearing was held in the Tagansky Court on September 4 last year. Then the court postponed the case due to the lack of contact between the parties.
