Sobyanin awarded Moscow cultural figures

On the professional holiday of cultural workers, celebrated on March 25, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated them on their professional holiday and presented professional awards to cultural figures of the Russian capital. The mayor of the capital told about this in his Telegram channel.

"This is a professional holiday for employees of museums and theaters, libraries and parks, concert halls and art schools, and the film industry — enthusiastic and talented people who have dedicated their lives to creativity," the mayor wrote in a congratulatory message.

The awards of the award "For Impeccable Service to the City of Moscow" were presented by Viktor Moskvin, director of the Solzhenitsyn House of Russian Abroad, Ivan Sigorskikh, Deputy director of the Stanislavsky House Theater, and Oleg Gushchin, artist of the Gogol Moscow Drama Theater. Alyona Babenko, an artist of the Sovremennik Theater, and Victoria Isakova, an artist of the Pushkin State Pedagogical University, received the title of "Honorary Artist of the City of Moscow". The titles of honorary cultural workers of the capital were awarded to 19 people representing various cultural institutions. These include children's music and choral schools, art schools, the Darwin Museum, the Moscow Children's Music and Drama Theater, the I.S. Turgenev Library and Reading Room, the N.A. Ostrovsky Integration State Museum and Cultural Center, and the ET CETERA Moscow Theater.
