Deputy Mayor Sergunina spoke about the attendance of Moscow fish markets

In the six months since the opening, almost half a million people have visited the Moscow— on-the-Wave fish market in the Mitino area. This was told by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.

"The first modern fish market opened in the capital in the fall of 2023. There are already two of them in the Mitino and Kosino-Ukhtomsky districts. The new format is very popular among Muscovites and tourists. In a year and a half, the sites were visited by 2 million people. They purchased about 1.5 thousand tons of products," Sergunina said.

In total, the assortment includes over 600 types of fish and seafood. The geography of supplies covers 17 regions of Russia, including Astrakhan and Murmansk regions, Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Territories, Karelia and Crimea.

Lightly salted herring, live carp, seaweed salad and pink salmon caviar became the most popular products on the Moscow — on-the-Wave market in Mitin. There is also an open kitchen where you can cook any fish and seafood you buy for free, as well as areas with cafes and restaurants. The market in Mitin also hosts various events within the framework of the city festivals "Golden Autumn", "Journey to Christmas", "Chinese New Year" and "Moscow Maslenitsa". For example, on Shrovetide, you could try pancakes with various seafood fillings here.
