Lavrov stated the desire of the United States to establish shuttle diplomacy in Riyadh

On March 25, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that during the talks in Riyadh, the United States wanted to put the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in neighboring rooms for shuttle diplomacy.

"In the contacts on the eve of this Riyadh meeting with Washington, it was felt that the Americans wanted to put Ukrainians and Russians in neighboring rooms and carry out shuttle diplomacy between them. And give out a single text," the minister said in an interview with Channel One.

To this end, an attempt was made to invade the Belgorod Region and attack a Russian energy facility in the Krasnodar Territory.

Earlier on March 25, Lavrov said that former US President Joe Biden had made a huge mistake by insisting on Ukraine's membership in NATO. Thus, he refused to engage in dialogue with Russia and began to create threats for it.

On the same day, the Russian Foreign Minister noted that European leaders were showing inconsistency by talking about the possibility of sending their peacekeepers to Ukraine.
