Construction of the crematorium began in Krasnoyarsk next to the cemetery on Badalyk. This was stated by the mayor of the regional center Vladislav Loginov during a speech to the deputies of the City Council on Tuesday, March 25.

The investor has already received a work permit and is now completing the construction of the pile field. Previously, he had to finalize the design of the crematorium due to shortcomings.

Speaking about cemeteries, Loginov said that the city had received two burial sites — in Berezovsky and Yemelyanovsky districts. The territories were allocated to replace the land in Krasnoyarsk, which was transferred to a technology company.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, an inventory of cemeteries is currently underway in the regional center. Due to this, new burial sites can be identified. The work should be completed by the end of the current 2025.

Earlier in March, it was reported that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the inspection of warranty roads and bridges, which were carried out according to the national project, had begun. The verification will take place in several stages.
