- An Italian journalist called Russian military personnel one of the priorities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian military correspondents have become one of the priority targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which consider all junalists working from the Russian Federation to be enemies. On March 25, Italian military commander Andrea Lucidi, who works in Donbas, told Izvestia.
"Unfortunately, it is no secret that correspondents on the front line from the Russian side are targets and priority targets for the Ukrainian armed forces. We have many examples, and I would not be surprised if in the future an analysis of yesterday's events shows that our colleagues have become targets for Ukrainian troops," he said.
He also noted that the Ukrainian conflict should be a reason to review international agreements on ensuring the safety of journalists in hot spots. In addition, Luchidi said that Ukrainian militants are deliberately targeting Russian journalists.
"The Ukrainian armed forces consider themselves entitled to strike at us and are actually looking for us to kill us. And they consider us to be enemies, not representatives of the world of the press," the Italian military commander said.
Luchidi called the murder of Russian journalists a 100% war crime.
On March 24, it became known about the death of Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak. According to preliminary data, he died as a result of an artillery strike from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Fedorchak worked in the territory of the LPR and the Kharkiv region.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the death of Alexander Fedorchak in the special operation zone to protect Donbass a new crime committed by the Ukrainian leadership against freedom of speech.
