Repeated emissions of fuel oil after the tanker crash in the Kerch Strait were recorded on four sections of the Anapa coast. This was announced on March 25 in the operational headquarters of the region.

It is specified that petroleum products were found near the "Beach Village", the central beach of Anapa, the mouth of the Mozhepsin River, as well as the area between Vityazevo and Blagoveshchenskaya village.

"New emissions are removed first, then the teams of cities and districts continue to sift through the sand, separating it from small fractions of fuel oil," the operstaba Telegram channel says.

On December 15, 2024, tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 crashed in the Kerch Strait due to bad weather. The incident resulted in a spill of petroleum products. 27 people were evacuated from both ships, one person died. On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a working group was set up to coordinate work to eliminate the consequences of the emergency.
