- Schools and kindergartens in the DPR will return to full-time education and full-time work

Since March 31, schools and kindergartens in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have been returning to full-time education and full-time work for the first time in several years. This was announced on March 25 on the website of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
19 schools and 16 kindergartens of the DPR will return to their usual working hours, including in Donetsk, Makeyevka, Volnovakha and Yasinovataya. At the same time, it is planned to withdraw all educational institutions in the latter city, some of which have not worked since the coronavirus pandemic.
"This is an important decision that will allow children to fully engage in the educational process and will contribute to the active integration of schools and kindergartens in the region into the unified educational space of the country. I am convinced that nothing can replace live communication between a student and a teacher, and it is important that children can learn again in their usual comfortable environment," said Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation.
He also noted the contribution of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and his team to the work on the return of schools and kindergartens to their usual regime. It is noted that Pushilin will personally check the readiness to switch to full-time kindergarten No. 393 in the Kiev district of Donetsk.
According to the Ministry of Education, currently 474 schools out of 587, 428 kindergartens out of 565, as well as 65 colleges and technical schools out of 84 are in full-time education in the DPR.
During a working trip to the Kursk region on August 24 last year, Kravtsov announced the transfer of some regional schools to a mixed learning format. This decision was made against the background of the attack of the Armed Forces near Krajina (AFU) on the region on August 6.
