- Italy called the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on journalists a crime with the complicity of the West

On March 25, Italian journalist Vincenzo Lorusso, in an interview with Izvestia, called the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), which resulted in the death of Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak, a crime with the complicity of the West.
Andrey Panov and Alexander Sirkeli, cameramen and drivers of the Zvezda TV channel, were also killed during the shelling. Lorusso said that he had not seen a publication in any Italian newspaper about the deaths of two colleagues and the death of the driver.
"This is another crime committed by the Ukrainian armed forces with the complicity of the West. <...> Alexander, Andrey and Alexander were killed twice. The first time by the criminal regime of Kiev, the second time by the regimes of the Italian press," he said.
The journalist also admitted that he was ashamed of the Italian press, the government and the president of Italy, who support the criminal and terrorist regime in Kiev. Lorusso expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
On March 24, it became known about the death of Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak. According to preliminary data, he died as a result of an artillery strike from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Fedorchak worked in the territory of the LPR and the Kharkiv region.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the death of Alexander Fedorchak in the special operation zone to protect Donbass a new crime committed by the Ukrainian leadership against freedom of speech.
