An unprecedented number of American civil servants are looking for new jobs after cuts conducted by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This was announced on March 25 by the NBC television channel with reference to the statistics of the Indeed job search portal.

"As DOGE rebuilds federal agencies, a new report released Tuesday by Indeed shows that the number of workers looking for new jobs has increased dramatically. According to the report, the number of job applications from employees of agencies targeted by DOGE has increased by 75% compared to 2022," the material says.

Corey Stahle, an economist at the portal, told the TV channel that this had not happened since the presidential inauguration and appointments to the administration. So, in February, the number of job search applications by U.S. government employees soared by 60 percentage points, he said.

On March 21, the US federal Court temporarily banned the Social Security Service from transferring access to confidential data of American citizens to the US Department of Public Safety (DOGE) of Elon Musk.

Later, on March 23, it was reported that after just two months of Donald Trump's presidential term, the American leader is already fighting more than 150 lawsuits challenging his political decisions. In particular, large-scale dismissals of civil servants are also being challenged in the courts.
