GAC announced all prices of the Empower sedan in Russia

The GAC Empower sedan has entered the Russian market, and the basic model costs from 3 million rubles, excluding discounts and special offers. The price list for the four-door appeared on the brand's official website on March 25.

The GAC Empower is available in two trim levels. In the top-end version called GL (S—Style), which features a sporty body kit and an expanded set of options, the car costs the same as in the base GS - 3 million rubles. However, in this case, the sedan will be built in 2024.

A car built in 2025 in the maximum configuration will cost 3.22 million rubles. When handing over the car to the trade-in, a discount of 100 thousand rubles is provided in all cases.

In both trim levels, the sedan is offered with an alternative with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 170 hp paired with a 7-speed "robot" with two wet clutches. Acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 6.95 seconds. GAC positions Empow as a sports sedan. The dimensions of the model are 4700×1850×1432 mm, the wheelbase is 2736 mm.

On March 18, it was reported that the Chinese company GAC intends to launch the production of cars in Russia. Pavel Nikiforov, Head of Sales Development at GAC Motor Russia, told Izvestia that the company is negotiating with a number of local manufacturers and is currently discussing the site.

A day earlier, GAC introduced the GS4 crossover in Russia. The price of the new product starts from 3 million rubles. In 2025, the Chinese manufacturer is also going to launch three electrified models on the Russian market, details about them have not yet been disclosed.
