First of all, issues of safe navigation in the Black Sea were discussed at the talks between the Russian and American delegations in Riyadh. This was announced on March 25 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The Minister stressed that the Russian side supports the resumption of the Black Sea initiative in a more acceptable form for all.
He also clarified that the presidents of the United States and the Russian Federation are currently being informed about the outcome of the negotiations.
