An explosion occurred at an ammunition depot of the Policske strojirny company near the town of Borgina in the east of the Czech Republic, at least one person was injured, Idnes reported on March 25, citing rescuers.

It is specified that 11 rescue teams, including firefighters and sappers, have already arrived at the scene.

The warehouse is located next to a factory that produces large-caliber ammunition, repairs military equipment and supplies spare parts.

This is not the first such explosion at ammunition depots in the Czech Republic.

In particular, similar incidents occurred twice in Vrbetice in 2014. In 2021, Prague accused Russia of involvement in these bombings, which led to the expulsion of 18 Russian diplomats. Moscow categorically rejected such accusations.

Earlier, on January 30, it was reported that six people were injured in an explosion at the Rheinmetall arms factory in the Spanish city of Murcia. It is specified that all the victims were taken to hospitals with various injuries. Two victims arrived at medical institutions with burns, one was poisoned by combustion products, and three more with bruises and head injuries. Gorenje
