The plane flying from the USA to China turned around because the pilot forgot the passport

A United Airlines Boeing 787 en route from Los Angeles to Shanghai was forced to turn around in the sky after it turned out that one of the pilots had taken off without a passport. This was reported on March 25 by CNN.

It is specified that there were 257 passengers and 13 crew members on board the aircraft. About two hours into the flight, the plane turned around and was diverted to San Francisco.

"We organized a new flight that took our customers to their destination the same evening. The customers were provided with food stamps and compensation," the airline said.

As a result, the plane with the new crew landed in Shanghai six hours later than planned.

On January 4, a Ural Airlines plane bound for Yekaterinburg landed urgently at Sharm el-Sheikh airport in Egypt. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced a malfunction in one of the engines. There were 236 passengers on board, they were accommodated in the international departures hall of the airport.
