Andrey Martemyanov, former head coach of HC Avtomobilist, Sibir and Amur, has died.

Andrey Martemyanov, the former head coach of hockey clubs Sibir, Avtomobilist and Amur, playing in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), has died at the age of 61. This was announced on March 25 by the press service of HC Sibir.
"His name will forever remain in the history of our club, and the years of his work in the team will be remembered as a period of bright victories and unforgettable emotions," the team's Telegram channel says.
Martemyanov was a pupil of the Sverdlovsk schools "Spartakovets" and "Yunost". In the 1981-1983 seasons, he played for the Sverdlovsk Avtomobilist, and was also called up to the junior and youth national teams of the USSR. In 1984, he played for CSKA Moscow, then in 1985-1991 he was a player for Avtomobilist.
After the collapse of the USSR, he went abroad to play. He was a hockey player for the Slovenian Olimpija and the German clubs Kellner Haye and Ratingen. Then he returned to his native country. He started his coaching career in 2000. He holds the title of Master of Sports of Russia of international class.
