Since the launch of the comprehensive career guidance program in the capital, over 100,000 students have completed it. This academic year, more than 45,000 ninth-graders are participating in it, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The program is valid from 2023. The main part of its events takes place at the flagship venue, the Professions of the Future Center. According to the mayor, students at the center "participate in an immersive tour using modern, including VR technologies," and can also visit the country's first career-oriented 5D cinema. In addition, they can also take professional tests there and communicate with representatives of colleges.

This approach, Sobyanin stressed, allows ninth graders to better understand the situation on the labor market, get acquainted with the variety of specialties and explore the opportunities available to the Moscow education system.

At the next stage, students can take professional tests, which are conducted on the basis of modern workshops and laboratories of almost fifty Moscow colleges. "The guys work on high-tech equipment and gain experience from students and teachers. Then they visit potential employers with excursions," the mayor said.
