The attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the energy infrastructure of Crimea is considered an act of terrorism. This was announced on March 25 by Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Crimean region and a member of the security Committee.

"Such convulsive attacks by the enemy are an act of terrorism. They are aimed at disrupting peace initiatives and prove that it is useless to negotiate with the current Kiev regime," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The MP also added that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his team are not capable of a constructive dialogue. He expressed the opinion that the Americans will soon be convinced of this.

Sheremet also stressed that the Kiev regime will be held accountable for each of its crimes.

On the same day, it was reported that air defense systems had eliminated five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Crimea during the night.
