Muscovites will appreciate the VDNKH revival program

The Active Citizen project will host a quiz and a series of votes dedicated to the VDNH revival program. Participants will have to evaluate the results of restoration work and new facilities, create a rating of the best areas for walking and family recreation, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"We have been comprehensively reviving the country's main exhibition for 10 years and have not stopped for a moment. Most of the pavilions have been restored to their historical appearance, modern museums, creative, children's, sports and educational spaces have appeared. I invite Muscovites to share their opinions," Sergunina said.

The first voting has already started: participants are invited to evaluate the restored facilities. Among them are the Main and Northern entrances, pavilions No. 1 "Central", No. 5 "Physics", No. 44 "Rabbit breeding" and No. 58 "Agriculture".

Based on the results of the second vote, a rating of the best places for walking at VDNKh will be compiled. Among the options will be such locations as the Central Alley, Kamensky Ponds cascade, Sheremetyevo oak grove, ecotropa, Michurinsky garden, syringarium (lilac garden).

In addition, Muscovites will determine the best modern object of the exhibition: it can be the Atom Museum, the Moskvarium Oceanography and Marine Biology center, the Urban Farm family complex, the Aerial Tram cable car, the Mobius Strip landscape attraction and the House of Russian Cuisine pavilion.

The citizens will also choose the most useful services and services for visitors. The list includes free buses, information centers, interactive navigation devices, sign language guided tours, a loyalty program, and the VDNKh mobile application.

Those who wish will also be able to test their knowledge by participating in a quiz. For example, residents of the capital will try to guess how many statues of girls adorn the Friendship of Peoples fountain or which writer's fairy tales inspired the creator of the Stone Flower.
