The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into a gas explosion in a house in Makhachkala.

On March 25, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan began checking in connection with a gas explosion in an apartment of a multi-storey building in Makhachkala.

"During the supervisory measures, the circumstances of the incident will be established, as well as an assessment of compliance with legal requirements during the operation of gas equipment," the agency's Telegram channel says.
