22 people injured in a bus accident in Crimea, including one child, continue to be in hospitals in Simferopol. Four of them are in serious condition. This was reported on March 25 by the RIA Novosti news agency with reference to the Assistant Minister of Health of Russia Alexei Kuznetsov.
Specialists of the National Medical Research Center (NMIC) of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Priorov is consulting with doctors who provide assistance to the victims, Kuznetsov said.
In addition, 15 people, including seven children, received outpatient medical care.
A regular bus and a truck collided on a highway in Crimea near the village of Ukromnoye, Simferopol district, on March 24. The Interior Ministry in the region reported that six people were killed. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the fact of violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons (Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code). The bus driver was detained, and the investigation is preparing to charge him.
