Nikita Chaplin, a State Duma deputy from United Russia and chairman of the Union of Summer Residents of the Moscow region, recalled heavy fines for non-compliance with the rules of incineration of garbage in suburban areas. The TASS news agency writes about this on March 25.

"The amount of fines varies from several thousand to hundreds of thousands of rubles, depending on the severity of the consequences," the parliamentarian noted.

Chaplin stressed that it is allowed to burn garbage on the site, but only in strict compliance with fire regulations. So, it is necessary to equip a place for a fire, maintain a safe distance from buildings and prepare extinguishing agents.

It is forbidden to burn waste on peat soils, in windy weather, under special fire protection conditions and under the crowns of coniferous trees. There are no special sites for this in the farming co-op, so summer residents must independently monitor safety, adds "Газета.Ru ".

"For effective protection from the smoke of burning grass, it is important not only to regulate legislation, but also to change people's attitudes towards this issue," the deputy added.

Earlier, on March 6, Oksana Vasilyeva, a lawyer and associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, warned Russians about dacha fines in 2025. According to the expert, the main violations are the misuse of land, for example, for commercial activities.
