A man was injured in an explosion in an apartment building in the Rostov region.

In the village of Verkhnetemernitsky, Aksai district, Rostov region, an explosion occurred in a three-story apartment building, injuring one person. This was reported on March 25 in the Telegram channel of the Department for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the district.

According to the emergency services, the incident was reported at 03:20. As a result of the explosion, the entrance doors of five apartments and the ceiling cladding in the entrance were damaged.

A man born in 2002 was injured, and he was taken to the hospital with first-degree burns.

According to preliminary information, the cause of the explosion was not a gas leak, but a source inside one of the apartments. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
