Antara talked about the introduction of new rules for foreign tourists in Bali

In Bali, the government has issued a circular letter containing rules, bans and sanctions for foreign tourists. This was reported on March 24 by the local agency Antara.
According to the new rules, foreigners must dress modestly and behave appropriately on the island, especially when visiting sacred sites and attractions. They must also drive responsibly, have international or national rights, and wear a helmet when driving a motorcycle.
"Sincerely respect the customs, traditions, art and culture, as well as the local wisdom of the Balinese people in the ongoing ceremonial and ritual processions," the agency quoted Bali Governor Wayan Koster as saying.
They also need to pay a tourist fee of 150,000 Indonesian rupees (about $9). Before departure or during your stay in Bali, and upon arrival, tourists must be accompanied by a licensed guide. In addition, tourists are prohibited from littering or polluting the springs. It is also prohibited to behave impolitely, conduct commercial activities or work without official documents.
"Foreign tourists who violate the regulations will be subject to strict measures in the form of sanctions or lawsuits in accordance with the laws and regulations of Indonesia," Koster stressed.
