The attack on Russian journalists is an attempt by Kiev to conceal the truth about what is happening in the special operation zone. Ricardo Sanchez Serra, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Journalists of Peru, told Izvestia on March 25.

"Professionals who devoted themselves to the search for the truth became victims of a terrible act while on duty in a civilian car, in an area that is clearly marked as a civilian population. This attack is not only a blatant violation of the fundamental principles of international law, but also a deliberate attempt to silence the truth and conceal the real facts," he said.

Ricardo Sanchez Serra stressed that the murder of journalists is also an indicator that Ukraine does not want to achieve peace.

"This attack is another proof that Ukraine does not seek peace by violating the ceasefire with attacks on energy facilities, as it was previously with the Minsk agreements," the journalist said.

He also condemned the Western media, which spread false information about the crimes of the Kiev regime, and pointed out the need to achieve fair punishment for those involved in the attack.

"No less outrageous is the silence of the Western press, which not only does not report these crimes, but also spreads disinformation and false versions. The truth cannot be hidden or manipulated. It is our collective duty to condemn these acts and demand justice for the victims and their families," he explained.

Ricardo Sanchez Serra also expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims and noted that journalists will never be forgotten.
