- The Foreign Ministry called the brutal nature of the Kiev regime after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on journalists

On March 25, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted the "bestial nature" of the Kiev regime in connection with the attacks by the Ukrainian army on Russian journalists.
"The Kiev regime has once again demonstrated its terrorist, bestial nature. A series of brutal reprisals against Russian journalists by Ukrainian neo—Nazis is another eloquent evidence of their willingness to commit any crimes against civilians without hesitation," she said on the agency's website.
According to Zakharova, the number of such attacks is increasing with the understanding that it is impossible for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to inflict any damage to the Russian army on the battlefield.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also noted that UNESCO, the OSCE and the UN are obliged to respond to Kiev's actions.
"We call on the international community, international professional organizations of journalists, and media representatives to strongly condemn these and other bloody crimes of [Ukrainian Leader Vladimir] Putin's regime. Zelensky and advocate for the immediate cessation of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on civilians, including media workers," Zakharova stressed.
In addition, she added that investigations will be conducted to identify those involved in these crimes.
"They will certainly be punished deservedly and inevitably, and will receive real prison terms, as is already the case for a number of other crimes the Kiev regime has committed against civilians, including representatives of the Russian media," Zakharova said.
On March 24, Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak was killed in a special operation zone as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a journalist's car. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the death of a journalist is a new crime of the Ukrainian leadership against freedom of speech, which will not be forgotten.
Later it became known about the deaths of Andrey Panov, the operator of the Zvezda TV channel, and Alexander Sirkeli, the driver of the film crew. It was clarified that the Ukrainian militants had targeted a civilian vehicle with two HIMARS missiles. Nikita Goldin, a correspondent for Zvezda, was also seriously injured as a result of the shelling.
