Actors Madyanov and Dobrovolskaya posthumously received the Nika Award


Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Roman Madyanov and People's Artist of Russia Evgenia Dobrovolskaya were posthumously awarded the Nika Award for supporting roles on March 24.
"Many thanks to the film Academy, the audience, and those who remember Dad. Tomorrow, on the 25th— it will be six months since he died. I think he would be very happy to see that he has another "Nika," said Roman Madyanov, the actor's son, receiving a prize for his father at the Moscow Mask Theater.
The producer of the film "The Worst of All," Fyodor Popov, said that he was touched by this award because Dobrovolskaya received it. He also called her a great actress.
After awarding prizes for supporting roles, the hosts of the ceremony offered to honor the memory of the filmmakers who passed away in 2024-2025. The video sequence began with Dobrovolskaya's speech from the award archive and ended with Madyanov's words of gratitude.
The motion picture "Anora" on March 2 during the Oscar ceremony in Los Angeles received the award in the nomination "Best Film" and statuettes for the best original screenplay, best film editing and best director.
At the same time, it became known that American actor Kieran Culkin won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the film "Real Pain." Russian actor Yura Borisov was also a nominee in this category for his role in "Anor".
