A fire in a multi-storey building in Tolyatti killed one person. This was announced on March 24 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Furniture and household appliances caught fire in a high-rise apartment. The source of the fire was an electric kitchen hood that worked at night. Unfortunately, a 42-year—old man died in the fire," the Telegram channel said.

The ministry clarified that 26 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and eight pieces of equipment managed to extinguish the fire on an area of 8 square meters. m. A total of 10 people were evacuated from the house.
