Three people were injured in a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. This was announced on March 24 by the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.
"As a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on the village of Korenevo in the Korenevsky district, a 63-year-old woman and a 12-year-old girl were injured, who were cleaning the territory of their house at that moment. They were taken to the Rila CRH with shrapnel wounds, and they will be sent to the Kursk Regional Hospital in the near future," he said in a Telegram channel.
Khinstein added that a 70-year-old man suffered a mine explosion injury and concussion in the Khomutovsky district — a Ukrainian drone attacked the territory of a store next to which a citizen was.
Earlier, on March 22, a civilian was injured as a result of an attack by an APU drone in the Kursk region. Also, during the attack on the village of Konyshevka in the Konyshevsky district, an outbuilding caught fire. Khinstein pointed out that the fire had been extinguished by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
